As a first step we typically schedule an on site quotation where we introduce our company, offer a firm written quote (which includes all ferry charges), and propose a detailed game plan on how to carry out your move.

We have found over the years that a timeline of loading one day, and delivering first thing the next morning usually works best to keep the stress level down!

Many delivery and work trucks going to Nanaimo and area sail on the early morning sailings, and hence there is often limited space on the lower (commercial) level of the ferry, so at the time of booking in your move we will immediately make a reservation for your preferred delivery date.  Reservations are especially important on Fridays, Sundays, and holidays.

Smaller load moving to Nanaimo or back to Vancouver??? If you are able to be somewhat flexible on dates, we are often able to offer a “shared load” rate and proportionally share the ferry and travel charges.

Fun Fact:  The Coastal Inspiration can often be found providing service between the Vancouver and Nanaimo routes.  Built in Flensburg, Germany in 2008, at launch along with sister ships Coastal Celebration, and Coastal Renaissance , were the biggest double ended ferries (interchangeable bows and sterns, able to go and forth without having to turn around) in the world.   Able to transport 1604 passengers and crew, and 310 vehicles.
